Sheri Dew's words of encouragement
Intentional—This word has jumped out at us after hearing Sheri Dew on the Magnify podcast this week and after revisiting her landmark talk from 1999, We are Women of God. We need to “get better at an active, intentional faith,” Sheri explains.
Intention=purposeful action. Our efforts to serve, be happy, stand as women of faith, lead and teach in our homes, all make a bigger impact on our lives and those around us when we do them with faithful intention.
What we need this season of life
As we start down new paths, take a necessary pause, or usher our loved ones on their various adventures, it’s natural to worry about what could go wrong, or even long for things to stay the same amidst inevitable change. This is when lean into the Savior and the strength that comes from our covenants. Because of Him, we overcome unease and move ahead with gratitude for what has been and peace about whatever the future holds.
5 small ways to feel more spiritually connected
Life can sometimes feel like a juggling act. When we re-center on the Savior, everything falls into place.
“As members of the Relief Society, we are blessed to be the conduit through which Jesus Christ brings His relief. I don’t have to solve every problem. And neither do you. That is not our work. Our work and privilege are to bring the relief of Jesus Christ to others, and in doing so we find our own relief in Him.”

As women of joyful faith, we make intentional choices every day to follow Jesus Christ and be closer to Him. How we do this may change during different seasons of the year and phases of our lives, but even our smallest efforts to draw close to the Lord make a difference.
Patricia Holland said, “The more time you spend with God, the more you believe, the deeper you believe, the more you know Him as a God of love.”
Transform Your Temple Experience
We had a wonderful Learning Together gathering where we heard from author Melinda Brown about transforming our temple experience. If you were able to join us in person or via zoom, thank you for coming!
We loved this insight Melinda shared:
“I believe that when we see our covenant relationships as eternal principles of loving relationships, that it’s life-changing today—not just in some distant future; and that perspective is centered on love.”

Three ways we can be joyful stewards
As women of Christ, we recognize that making an effort helps us grow personally and spiritually, bringing us closer to our Savior. Is effort comfortable? Not usually. But spiritual work alongside the Lord is empowering. It uplifts our days from mundane to magnificent.
5 questions to feel closer to God today
We love the 5 questions Maria Eckersley shared on the Magnify podcast to help us learn more from women in scripture. The conversation got us thinking, what if we asked these questions about ourselves? What more could we learn about God’s love and plan for each of us, His unique, beloved daughters, by pondering these questions in a more personal way?
Enhancing our Temple Worship
Understanding more about God’s love is one way to access more of His power in our lives. Looking at the temple through the lens of love brightens our worship and enhances all of our relationships.
